Episode 4: Friendzoned

Ah friendship. What’s better than that? Love? Not for you, buddy – you’re in the friend zone! Why don’t you think about where things went wrong by sitting down to a healthy breakfast of homemade Pop Tarts and eggs? We’ve also got some interesting cocktails to wash it all down with.

Strawberry Pop Tarts

• 1 pkg pre-made pie dough

• 1 can strawberry pie filling

• 1/2 tsp cinnamon

• 1 beaten egg

• 1 cup powdered sugar

• 1 tbsp. milk

• Sprinkles, if you want them.

Pre-heat your oven to 375F, then line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper. Roll out pie dough on a floured counter, trying to make a rectangle shape out of it. Cut into an even amount of small rectangles. Brush the edges of the dough with the beaten egg. Fill middle with about 1.5 tbsp. of a mixture of the strawberry pie filling and cinnamon. Place another piece of dough over the top of the one you just filled, pressing the edges together with a fork or your fingers. Brush the top with more of the beaten egg if you don’t plan on using icing. If you do plan on using icing, skip that step. Poke some holes in the top with a fork, bake for 10-12 minutes until slightly browned. Cool.

In a bowl mix powdered sugar and milk, then drizzle over the cooled pastries if you want, and cover with sprinkles.

Xenomorph Egg Cups

• 1 sheet puff pastry

• 6 eggs

• 3 slices thinly sliced ham, cut in half

• Salt/pepper to taste

• Cooking spray

Preheat your oven to 350F. Grease 6 cups in a muffin tin. Defrost the puff pastry per package directions, then cut into 6 squares that will fit in the muffin tin cups, placing those squares in the cups, edges hanging over a bit. Place some ham in each cup, crack an egg into each cup, season with salt and pepper and bake for approximately 25 minutes.

1.5 oz Skyy Citrus .25 oz Zen Green Tea .25 oz Skyy Midori 1 oz pineapple juice 1 oz grapefruit juice Squeeze lemon Splash soda Build all ingredients into a glass and garnish with an orange cherry flag.

Alien Brain Hemorrhage

1 oz Peach Schnapps

.5 oz Irish Cream

Splash of Blue Curaçao

Few Drops Grenadine

Pour schnapps into a shot glass, then layer Irish cream on top. Drizzle the grenadine and finally add the splash of blue Curaçao
